Can single needle embroidery machine do multiple colors? ›

Single needle machines aren't designed to run a higher volume of multi-colored designs every day - the machine will wear out and need replacing far too soon. In addition, multi-needle machines allow you to embroider designs with multiple colors without needing to stop and rethread the machine.
